I'm Feng Ren (任峰), an independent researcher working on networking and storage systems for LLM serving.
I have been a co-founder of Mooncake since 2024, and I am the author and a core maintainer of Mooncake Transfer Engine.
After leaving my research position, I permanently stepped away from the conventional academic career path.
I continue to do research, but on an independent agenda centered on building systems for real-world problems.
